Nginx-RTMP One-Click Server

Pre-built Nginx-RTMP image with the RTMP module compiled in, HLS and DASH packagers enabled, and stat.xsl panel exposed on port 8080. Listens on tcp/1935 for ingress and tcp/80 for HLS/DASH playback. Pre-built Owncast image — open-source Twitch alternative — listening on tcp/1935 (RTMP ingest) and tcp/8080 (web player + chat). Can I push an OBS RTMP stream without a re-encode hop?
Yes. Push RTMP at any bitrate up to 50 Mbps directly to your origin shape. We do not re-mux on ingress unless you ask us to. HLS output is generated locally on the same node.

Do you handle the multi-bitrate HLS ladder, or do I need a CDN?
Either way. The Standard shape upwards transcodes a full 5-rung ladder (1080p / 720p / 540p / 360p / 240p) on-CPU. If you already use Cloudflare Stream or Mux, we just feed them via origin pull — same egress price, which is zero.

How many concurrent viewers can a 10 Gbps streaming VPS handle?
Sustained 10 Gbps symmetric, line-rate, no transfer caps. That is roughly 200 concurrent 1080p60 viewers per node before you hit edge fanout territory — at which point you spread origins across regions and let our backbone handle the multicast.

Direct from origin: HLS 4 s · LL-HLS 1.6 s · WebRTC plug-in 0.3 s. Behind our edge cache (default): add ~ 200 ms. We publish a live latency board at status.NODED.CLOUD.

Can I bring my own RTMP authentication or ingest server?
Yes. Plug in nginx-rtmp, srtla-rec, OvenMediaEngine, or any custom auth shim — root access on every plan. We also expose a simple HMAC-signed URL scheme out of the box.

How is a DDoS attack on a live broadcast handled?
1 Tbps Layer-3/4/7 mitigation activates inside 8 s, upstream of your origin. The stream keeps running because the attack never reaches your fiber. Free on every shape.
