Can I announce my own IP space (BYOIP) here?
Yes. Bring your own IPv4 (/24 minimum) or IPv6 (/48 minimum) and we originate it from AS60982 across our 13 EU POPs. You provide a signed LOA and a valid RPKI ROA or IRR route object; we build the filters and bring it live — typically in days, not weeks.

Do I need my own ASN to run BGP?
No. With an ASN we set up an eBGP session and announce your prefixes under it. Without one, we announce your IP space under our own AS60982 — no RIR membership and no ASN application required.

Is BGP available on a VPS, or only dedicated?
Both. A KVM VPS can run a BGP session for BYOIP and anycast; dedicated bare metal adds full layer-2 and /29 or /28 IPv4 by default. Same AS60982, same peering either way.

What do you need from me to get started?
A signed LOA for the prefix, a valid RPKI ROA (or IRR route object), /24 minimum for IPv4 or /48 for IPv6, and an origin ASN — yours or AS60982. Send those and we handle ROA validation, IRR objects, and the session config.

Does announcing under AS60982 keep my traffic under EU jurisdiction?
Yes. AS60982 is operated by X ZONE IT SRL, a Romanian company, and every EU POP your prefix is announced from sits under EU jurisdiction and GDPR — no US CLOUD Act or FISA-702 reach over the infrastructure carrying it. A signed DPA is available on request.
