Is NODED.CLOUD hosting GDPR-compliant?
Yes. NODED.CLOUD is operated by X ZONE IT SRL, an EU company registered in Romania (VAT RO48893724). Personal data is processed under GDPR and Romanian/EU law, with EU sub-processors only and a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) available on request. Your data stays in the EU country you choose: Romania, Poland, the Netherlands, Germany or Austria.

Where is my data physically stored?
In whichever European POP you select — Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Vienna, Warsaw, Bucharest and more. We do not replicate or move your data outside that region without your instruction, and traffic rides our own AS60982 backbone rather than an opaque non-EU transit path, so residency is traceable end to end.

Are you subject to the US CLOUD Act or FISA-702?
No. We are a European company with no US parent, US subsidiary or US data centres in the residency path, so neither the US CLOUD Act nor FISA-702 reaches your data. This is the core reason EU teams choose us over US-owned hyperscalers for sovereign workloads.

Can I get a signed DPA and data-residency commitment?
Yes. We provide a GDPR Data Processing Agreement on request and will commit, in the contract, to the specific EU country your data must remain in. That is exactly the artefact your DPO, auditor or enterprise customer’s security questionnaire is asking for.

Is dedicated hardware available for compliance isolation?
Yes. For workloads that require physical isolation, move to single-tenant dedicated bare metal — no shared silicon, no noisy neighbours. You still get EU residency, our own network, free 1 Tbps DDoS and an EU-based on-call engineering team.
